01. The Challenge

The objective was to build an intelligent dashboard that helps individuals analyze and manage their personal expenses efficiently. The challenge involved automating expense categorization, visualizing spending patterns, and delivering actionable financial insights using AI-driven techniques.

02. The Solution

We developed a dynamic web dashboard using Dash and Pandas that allowed users to upload their expense data (CSV format), which was then cleaned and categorized automatically. The dashboard featured interactive visualizations like bar graphs and pie charts to reflect category-wise spending, monthly trends, and potential savings areas.

03. The Result

The dashboard helped users understand their spending behavior better and identify unnecessary expenses. In peer testing, **90% of users found it useful** for budgeting and planning. The project received positive academic feedback for its real-world applicability and clean, user-friendly interface.
